Roy Rogers Green Plaid Shirt and Comic Book

Roy Rogers, 1951-1957, NBC. Vintage Nudie's Rodeo Tailors brand green and white plaid fitted wool long-sleeved shirt with pointed collar, 2-unique double point flap chest pockets, with mother of pearl snap buttons throughout. Interior underarms exhibit reinforced paneling. Retaining internal "Nudie's Rodeo Tailor / North Hollywood California" bias label. Worn by Rogers in Season 2, Episode 8, "The Knock Out," of The Roy Rogers Show. Accompanied by 52-page comic book by Dell, "Roy Rogers Comics" #80, published August 1954, featuring Roy wearing the shirt on the cover. Exhibiting production wear and age.
