The Terminator (1984) - Hero T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) Sunglasses

Signature Sunglasses worn by the Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) in James Cameron's 1984 sci-fi cult classic action film The Terminator. Disguised as a human, a cyborg assassin known as a Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) travels from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton). Sent to protect Sarah is Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn), who divulges the coming of Skynet, an artificial intelligence system that will spark a nuclear holocaust. While suffering damage in the film, the T-800 needs to repair himself. To hide the damage to his eye, the Terminator dons these sunglasses. These can be seen in numerous promotional material and posters for the film. These Gargoyle Ansi Classics glasses feature a black plastic frame with tinted lenses and thin black arms. The glasses exhibit signs of wear from production use, including minor scratching on the lenses and scuffing on the frame. Dimensions: 14 cm x 15 cm x 4. This lot comes with a letter from Arnold Schwarzenegger and a producer on the film and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Studio Auctions.
