Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) - T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) Sunglasses

The Terminator's (Arnold Schwarzenegger) sunglasses from James Cameron's iconic sci-fi action sequel Terminator 2: Judgment Day. In this sequel set eleven years after "The Terminator," young John Connor (Edward Furlong), the key to civilization's victory over a future robot uprising, is the target of the shape-shifting T-1000 (Robert Patrick), a Terminator sent from the future to kill him. Another Terminator, the revamped T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger), has been sent back to protect the boy. When the T-800 is first introduced in the films first act, he can be seen stealing these sunglasses along with his signature costume and bike. These can be seen throughout the film as part of the characters main attire. Comprised of a black plastic frame with tinted lenses, each arm of the sunglasses is adorned with two silver-colored line details. Indicative of production use, the glasses bear signs of wear, including minor scratching on the lenses and scuffing on the frame. The dimensions of the sunglasses are 5½" x 5¾" x 1¾". The glasses come with a letter from actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Studio Auctions. Our consignor is a collector of sunglasses from many iconic movies and actors including Dirty Hairy.
