Mary Tyler Moore Signed Pay Authorization to William Morris Agency for The Danny Kaye Show.

Danny Kaye, 1963-1967, Danny Kaye. Vintage letter typed on 8.25 x 11 in. William Morris Agency stationery with Beverly Hills address, dated “Wednesday, October 14, 1964", from Mary Tyler Moore to The Danny Kaye Show. The letter authorizes Moore's payment to be sent to her representatives at the William Morris Agency, and also gives instructions for what was then known as AFTRA, the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. It reads, in part, “I hereby likewise authorize and direct AFTRA to forward my rerun compensation (both domestic and foreign) to William Morris Agency, Inc. Very truly yours," and it is signed, “Mary Tyler Moore." Handwritten in an unknown hand with blue ink at top left hand corner, “Show #41 10/10/64." The letter shows expected age, with two hole-punch perforations and tape remnants at the top center. In vintage very good to fine condition. From the personal collection of Danny and Sylvia Fine Kaye.
