Matt Stajan Game Used Stick

Nice Blue Easton Synergy stick from Matt Stajan, used during his 2005-06 season with the Maple Leafs. The photos show him using this exact type of stick during game play. Nice use on the mostly taped blade with the blue paint having been slashed off in several spots. The shaft has some nice hack marks and as you move up the stick, a Stajan name stamp with 14 in black background is found between the Eaton graphics. Matt's typical handle tape job has 14 written in black marker with 2 small dots which we think is a family reference. Really nice stick that was used during the same season as the game used jersey being offered in a separate lot in the auction. Take home this nice stick from a very popular local Toronto player. Matt Stajan played in the NHL for 14 seasons, six with the Toronto Maple Leafs, eight with the Calgary Flames. He played in 1003 games, scored 146 goals and 267 assists. In the 2008-09 season, Stajan enjoyed a breakout offensive year, tallying 55 points in Toronto with a career-high 40 assists. Stajan enjoyed a strong junior career with the Belleville Bulls, which included being a part of the silver medal-winning Canadian team in the 2003 World Junior Championship. Stajan played his final professional season with EHC Red Bull München of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).
