Buffalo Bill’s (Ted Levine) extensive case file from the 1991 classic Silence of the Lambs. Jodie Foster stars as Clarice Starling, a top student at the FBI's training academy. Jack Crawford (Scott Glenn) wants Clarice to interview Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins), a brilliant psychiatrist who is also a violent psychopath, serving life behind bars for various acts of murder and cannibalism. Crawford believes that Lecter may have insight into a case and that Starling, as an attractive young woman, may be just the bait to draw him out. Seen during two important scenes in the film including when Clarice and Lecter have their only moment of physical contact, this is the complete FBI case file on the notorious serial killer Buffalo Bill (Ted Levine). The contents of the file contain annotated news articles, file logs, hand-written notes, and pictures of Buffalo Bill’s victims. Exhibiting production wear, the file’s cover features minor wrinkling and slight discoloration while the interior pages of the file remain in excellent condition. The item comes from an LOA from the film’s property master and is also accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Studio Auctions.
