Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019) - Astromech Droid Dome

An Astromech Droid Dome Head from J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. When it's discovered that the evil Emperor Palpatine did not die at the hands of Darth Vader, the rebels must race against the clock to find out his whereabouts. Finn and Poe lead the Resistance to put a stop to the First Order's plans to form a new Empire, while Rey anticipates her inevitable confrontation with Kylo Ren. Warning: Some flashing-lights scenes in this film may affect photosensitive viewers. Within the Star Wars universe, these droids were commonly seen in technician shops across the galaxy working on other droids. The custom droid head is made of metal that is intentionally tarnished and features blue and yellow-painted areas. On the inside, there are several cables that are connected to internal mechanisms to operate the flaps on the head. The droid features scuffs and scratches from use, but remains in overall great condition. This lot is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Studio Auctions.
