Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) - BB-8 Droid Head

A static BB-8 droid dome head from J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens. BB-8, an Astromechdroid, belongs to Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) and eventually befriends Rey (Daisy Ridley) on her home planet of Jakku. The pair travel across the galaxy and take on the First Order in many battles and ultimately find Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). This dome head is made up of fiberglass and resin and features a white and orange coloring scheme and gray accents throughout. The head also features a plastic lens that is intended to project hologram messages and provide BB-8 the ability to see. The droid head exhibits minor wear from production use and remains in overall great condition. This lot is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Studio Auctions
