Dawn of the Dead (2004) - Original Zombie Face Mask

Original zombie face mask from Zach Snyder’s 2004 remake of the zombie film, Dawn of The Dead. When her husband is attacked by a zombified neighbor, Ana (Sarah Polley) manages to escape, only to realize her entire Milwaukee neighborhood has been overrun by the walking dead. After being questioned by cautious policeman Kenneth (Ving Rhames), Ana joins him and a small group that gravitates to the local shopping mall as a bastion of safety. Once they convince suspicious security guards that they are not contaminated, the group bands together to fight the undead hordes. This lot features a foam latex mask that resembles a disfigured and decayed face. To help age the mask, the production team used special sculpting techniques to denote age and discoloration. The mask also features hollowed eyes and an open mouth. Overall, the lot exhibits production wear but remains in great condition. This lot is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Studio Auctions.
