Shawshank Redemption (1994) - Bogs (Mark Rolston) Prison Shiv

The hero prison shiv wielded by Bogs Diamond, actor Mark Rolston in Frank Darabont's prison drama, The Shawshank Redemption. Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) is sentenced to two consecutive life terms in prison for the murders of his wife and her lover and is sentenced to a tough prison. However, only Andy knows he didn't commit the crimes. While there, he forms a friendship with Red (Morgan Freeman), experiences brutality of prison life, adapts, helps the warden, etc., all in 19 years. Crafted as a custom-made shiv knife, this weapon features a metal blade with a rusted finish, complemented by a white cloth wrapped around the handle. To convey authenticity, the blade and handle bear intentional rusting, distressing, and scratches from production, accompanied by slight discoloration. Overall, the shiv is in excellent condition, having been used in the production of the film. This lot is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Studio Auctions.
