Original glasses worn by the title character of Indian Jones, actor Harrison Ford inn thee 1981 classic Raiders of the Lost Ark. Epic tale in which an intrepid archaeologist tries to beat a band of Nazis to a unique religious relic which is central to their plans for world domination. Battling against a snake phobia and a vengeful ex-girlfriend, Indiana Jones is in constant peril, making hair's-breadth escapes at every turn in this celebration of the innocent adventure movies of an earlier era. This is a set of vintage Savile Row Beaufort Panto brand eyeglasses. Crafted in 14kt satin gold with faux tortoiseshell details, the glasses feature cable temples and adjustable nose pads. Measuring approximately 5 x 2 inches when closed, the glasses exhibit minor signs of production wear but are overall in very good condition. This lot is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Studio Auctions.
