HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS (2002) - DRACO MALFOY HERO NIMBUS 2001 BROOM

An original "Nimbus 2001" broom made for Tom Felton "Draco Malfoy" and also used by other characters in the production of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Warner Bros. Pictures, 2002). The Nimbus 2001 was used by Tom Felton's character, Draco Malfoy, while he was the seeker on the Slytherin Quidditch team. Broomsticks of this style can be seen used by the actor during the Quidditch tournament, and during behind-the-scenes footage of the film. Similar to other broomsticks from the production of the Harry Potter series, this example would be mounted on a large device via a mounting bracket on the handle of the broomstick to appear as if it were flying through special effects. The broomstick is composed of a tubular metal frame, metal footrests and long resin imitation broom bristles. The end of the broom handle features the "Nimbus 2001" logo. On various components of the broomstick, there are notes written in black marker indicating "top", "bottom", "large" and "small." This lot is accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity from Studio Auctions.
