Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) - MACUSA Wand Permit

Original wand permit paperwork featured in the production of the 2016 fantasy film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The year is 1926, and Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident, were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt's fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds. This prop Wand Permit Application for Alien Wizards was custom-printed by the production for use by various actors and as set dressing. The application features the “Magical Congress of the United States of America” logo on the cover and opens to the full application and three wand permits. Measures 3.5” x 14.5” folded.
