The Thing Mask from Fantastic Four

Production used creature suit full head mask constructed of soft, self skinning cast polyfoam with expertly painted rock features and ring of snaps along inner lower edge for attaching to body of creature suit (not included). Retaining internal studio handwritten note, "#4" in black ink. Many such masks would be made for production, and switched out during the course of filming, sometimes for damage, often for soiling or perspiration, which ultimately would lead to the deterioration of materials, making this surviving piece a rare example. Exhibiting production wear and handling. In very good condition.
