Captain Hook Letter and Menu for Premiere

Ransom letter made for the premiere of "Captain Hook" (Dustin Hoffman) to "Peter Banning" (Robin Williams), featuring calligraphy pen based on the one created by the film's prop maker David Lowery. He achieved the old-timey parchment look by pouring coffee on the thick, tan paper and then baking it briefly in the oven so it would stiffen. Including 1-menu from the London premiere of the film that took place on April 7, 1992 and was attended by Princess Diana and her two sons. The menu features an outline of a hook on the front printed in gold and is held closed by a two-piece hook-shaped silver pin. Letter measuring 16 x 11.25 in., menu measuring approximately 8.25 x 6 in. Both exhibiting age and handling. In very good condition.
