(2) Superman II Fortress of Solitude Crystals

Production used (2) translucent cast acrylic shards consisting of 1-green sunstone crystal and 1-colorless crystal from "The Fortress of Solitude," both expertly designed to resemble unique alien minerals. The crystals play a significant role in the plot, as they are used to store the power, knowledge and messages from "Superman's" (Reeves) Kryptonian parents. These crystals are kept in the Fortress of Solitude and act as a means for Superman to access his heritage and receive guidance. He uses the green sunstone crystal to give up his powers for a mortal life with "Lois Lane" (Margot Kidder) and then to regain his powers, and take those of the villains. Exhibiting production handling and age, the props measure approximately 11 x 4 in. each. In very good to fine condition.
