Danny Kaye, 1970, Danny Kaye. Vintage customized white porcelain tile trivet featuring a metallic silver, gold and black image of Danny Kaye wearing medieval garb, with his signature beneath. Back is lined in vivid green felt and is accompanied by a creme holiday card featuring a green drawing of Danny Kaye being tied down by tiny people, à la Gulliver's Travels. Red and creme interior of card reads: “Seasons Greetings from Sylvia and Danny Kaye… and friends. There is also a smaller white card with handwritten, “For a hot pot and a cool yule! Sylvia and Danny Kaye" in red ink. Including 1-original cardboard shipping package with post sticker addressed to “Mr. and Mrs. Garson Kanin." Two by Two is a 1970 musical comedy by Richard Rodgers and Martin Charnin, inspired by the biblical story of Noah's Ark. Tile measuring 6 x 6 in. Exhibiting age and handling.
