Danny Kaye personal collection of (8) baseball club cards and magazines including 1-issue of Seattle Mariners Baseball Club Official 1977 Scoreboard, 1-issue of Sports Illustrated dated April 4, 1977, featuring an article about Danny Kaye and his Mariners, 2-plastic creme “The Stadium Club" cards with gold and black printed logo and metallic gold embossed “66 143 / Danny Kaye," 1-creme and red paper “American Leagues of Professional Baseball Clubs" annual pass card in plastic cover with typed “Danny Kaye & Party," and 3-creme and multicolor “The National League of Professional Baseball Clubs" paper passes with handwritten red, “Danny Kaye & Guest," one displayed in red leatherette wallet with gold gilt “National League Centennial 1876-1976" and logo, with interior sleeve featuring a pocket schedule. Danny Kaye was a passionate baseball fan and part-owner of the Seattle Mariners in the 1970s, where he was part of a group of investors who helped revive the city's Major League Baseball status. Kaye was a lifelong supporter of the Brooklyn Dodgers, later known as the Los Angeles Dodgers, and was thrilled when the team moved west. Wallet measuring 4.75 x 3.25 in. Exhibiting handling.
