Danny Kaye, 1940s-1970s, Danny Kaye. Vintage Stereo Realist brand 35mm 3D camera, produced from 1947 to 1971 by the Realist Camera Corporation, featuring a sleek, compact design with chrome accents and a distinctive triple-lens setup for capturing stereoscopic images. Made of durable silver metal with textured black plastic covering, it offers a mid-century modern aesthetic. The camera's ergonomic design includes a simple control layout, with dual viewfinders for precise 3D framing, making it a sought-after piece for both photography enthusiasts and collectors of vintage cameras. Including 1-original brown leather storage case, ink stamped with the letters “D.K." in gold gilt on the top fold and the Stereo Realist logo in gold gilt on the front flap cover, interior lined with green velvet, and retaining typed note affixed with blue tape, reading, “If lost, please return to Danny Kaye / 202 North Canon Drive / Beverly Hills, California / Phone-CRestview [sic] 16161." Mechanicals are present but untested. The camera measures approximately 7 x 3 x 2.75 in., and the case measures approximately 7.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 in.
