Danny Kaye Personally Owned Set of (2) Theatrical Swords.

Danny Kaye, 1930s-1970s, Danny Kaye. Vintage set of (2) theatrical stage swords, including 1-constructed of cast metal with a metal guard adorned with leaf designs, grooved carved bone grip and metal eagle emblem on pommel, with metal sheath featuring suspension rings affixed at base, with leather strip looped around it, and 1-sword constructed of cast metal with curved crossguard and thick roped fabric grip, with black metal sheath featuring suspension ring. Kaye remained actively involved in stage productions for over thirty years, even as he transitioned into film and television. Measuring from approx. 35.5 x 5 in. to 38 x 6 in. Exhibiting expected age and handling, with some oxidation to handles and blades and minor scoring along the black sheath. In vintage very good condition.
