Personalized decorative holiday ceramic plate tray from the iconic Maxim's restaurant, with mistletoe drawn along the top and “Xmas Greetings from Maxim's Paris" handwritten in black ink right above a color illustration of a valet carrying top hats, canes, and coats. Handwritten across the bottom in black ink, “to Mr. Danny Kaye / Burbank Cal. / Decr. 49" and on the back, “Edité par A. Simon / Paris / Made in France." Maxim's in Paris is a Belle Époque-era restaurant that has long been a symbol of glamour and opulence, attracting celebrities and aristocrats alike and was long considered the most famous restaurant in the world.
