Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix) Dagger From “Gladiator”

Commodus' (Joaquin Phoenix) stunt dagger from Ridley Scott's Oscar-winning historical epic Gladiator. The Roman Emperor used his dagger to mortally wound Maximus (Russell Crowe) before their final duel in the Colosseum. Maximus ultimately used the weapon to kill Commodus. The weapon comprises a thin rubber stiletto blade finished in faux silver and a cast swirling resin grip. Metallic gold-colored paint is applied to the handle, and the weapon features an internal metal armature. The paint finish has worn away on the grip in some places, exposing the resin underneath. Dimensions: 32 cm x 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm (12 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1/2"). Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Studio Auctions.
