Vintage and contemporary collection of (5) award and benefit materials honoring Danny Kaye including 1-vibrant, 72-page issue of Cue magazine from January 9, 1971, in which Kaye is featured as “Entertainer of the Year", highlighting his significant impact on the entertainment world, 1-prestigious Presidential invitation to the 1978 Kennedy Center Honors, complete with five individual pieces including the original transmittal envelope, which bears a handwritten note that reads, “regret 11/28/78 ok," suggesting that the Kaye family did not attend the event. Also including 1-spiral-bound program from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev event, where Kaye was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award for his incredible contributions to entertainment and philanthropy, 1-5-piece invitation to “An Evening with Danny Kaye and the New York Philharmonic," held on Wednesday, September 23, 1981, at the prestigious Metropolitan Club, and 1-1984 Kennedy Center Honors program, commemorating Kaye's receipt of one of the highest honors in American culture.
