Buddy Ebsen Signed Pay Authorization for The Danny Kaye Show.

The Danny Kaye Show, 1963-1967, CBS. Vintage typed letter on 8.25 x 11 in. stationery with Los Angeles address, dated “September 4, 1964", from Buddy Ebsen for The Danny Kaye Show. The letter authorizes Ebsen's payment to be sent to his representatives at the James McHugh, Jr. Agency, and reads in part, “This authorization shall remain in effect until written notice of the revocation thereof signed by me shall be served upon you by registered mail." It is signed in blue ink, "Buddy Ebsen." Ebsen was a versatile actor, famous for his role as the lovable “Jed Clampett" on The Beverly Hillbillies, and a beloved fixture in Hollywood from the 1930s through the 1960s, known for both his dance skills and his iconic TV performances. Exhibiting expected age, handling, minor creasing, with minor wear around the edges not affecting the content, with two hole-punch perforations and tape at top center. In vintage good condition.
