Personalized UNICEF notecard with the front featuring the printed image of an original Hepburn drawing of a weeping woman carrying a infant on her back, attributed, “Audrey Hepburn '88" and titled, “Mother and Child". Handwritten by Hepburn in blue ink on the interior, “22 Jan. '91 / Dearest Sylvia / What a beautiful gift! We have already used our lovely ‘flutes' for champagne, but also for cho. mousse! A million thanks - I am deeply touched by your sweet words - Danny is a tough act to follow…..but at least I will have done my best! / Much love to you always / Audrey." Accompanied by the original transmittal envelope addressed by hand to “Mrs. Danny Kaye." Measuring from approx. 7.5 x 5.25.to 7.75 x 5.5 in. In very good to fine condition.
