Arthur Rubinstein Signed Thank You Letter to Danny and Sylvia Kaye.

Danny Kaye, 1977, Danny Kaye. Vintage typed letter on embossed 10.5 x 7.25 in. stationery dated “January 30, 1977." The brief note reads: “Dear Sylvia and Danny, You are angels to have thought of me, and I will try to get drunk drinking your health with your wonderful gift. A big kiss and hug for both of you. Your old friend," and is boldly signed in purple ink, “A Rubinstein." Stapled to the top right of the letter is a piece of Holiday Inn stationery note paper in an unknown hand, “Save T.Y. for his 90th B'day." An ink stamp to the bottom of the letter reads, “FEB 07 1977." Arthur Rubinstein and Danny Kaye shared a close friendship built on mutual respect for each other's talents. In a 1950s TV special, Kaye humorously mimicked Rubinstein's piano style, showcasing their playful bond. Exhibiting expected age and minor handling. In vintage very good condition.
