Ceti Eel Creature From “Star Trek II; the Wrath Of Khan”

Original Ceti Eel prop used in “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan”.

In a classic, cringe-worthy scene, these larval creatures are implanted by villainous "Khan" (Ricardo Mantalban) into the ears of "Commander Chekov" (Walter Koenig) and "Captain Terrell" (Paul Winfield) to exert mind control over them. This prop was used in the close-up scene where it is about to enter Chekov’s ear. A large prop ear was made for this scene. Constructed of cast foam latex and studio-painted with expert detail. The latex rubber remains supple. The Eel exhibits signs of age. In production-used, vintage good condition. From the collection of Greg Jein.
