“Star Trek: Phase II” Phaser Hand Prop

Made of plastic and metal, this phaser was intended for use in Star Trek: Phase II, an unmade series in development during the late 1970s. A sequel to The Original Series, Phase II was scrapped somewhat, morphing into what would become Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Though it is unclear if this prop was used in the feature film, it is a rare piece of Trek history. Measures approx.. 3.75" x 2" x 1". In Excellent condition. From the collection of Greg Jein.
