Boston Program – Leafs vs Boston – March 11, 1941

This is a nice piece of NHL history from a game held March 11, 1941, in the Boston Garden. The Toronto Maple Leafs were the opponent for this night's tilt. The Bruins prevailed that evening 3-2 with Woody Dumart, Roy Conacher and Eddie Wismena scoring for the Bruins with Don Metz and Sweeny Schriner scoring the two goals for the Leafs. This was the seventeenth year in the NHL for the big bad Bruins. Bill Cowley, pictured in the magazine, led the league with 62 points and won the scoring title. The Bruins also won the league this season.   The program is in good condition with a small tear at the bottom of the cover and has a few check marks in pen on page 18.  This 85 year old item will display nicely and add to your vintage program collection.
