Christoph Waltz Pistol Prop from Django Unchained

Django Unchained, 2012, Columbia Pictures. Production made cast rubber signature stunt pistol based on the Remington 1858 New Army model, created specifically for the Christoph Waltz character in the film. Expertly studio painted in metallic tones, with intricate detailing to replicate a lifelike appearance, and distressed for production use. This prop is designed to be a stand-in for a real revolver used by the character. Measuring approximately 13.5 x 6 in. The piece exhibits minor handling, showing subtle wear from production use, including light scuffs and scratches. Displayed in hinged shadowbox with images from the film, windowed to highlight the weapon resting on interior lined red velvet measuring approx. 23 x 15.5 x 2.5 in. In very good to fine condition.
