Replica Wilson volley ball from the film “Castaway”, 2000

A replica of Chuck Noland's (Tom Hanks) Wilson from Robert Zemeckis' drama Cast Away. During his four years stranded alone on a desert island, plane-crash survivor Chuck created Wilson, his only companion, out of a volleyball. The volleyball is intentionally distressed with a dark brown-and-red 'face', created in the film by Chuck's bloody handprint.. Approx 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" x 7 1/2". From the collection of Greg Jein.
