Perseus Weapon Prototype from Clash of the Titans

Clash of the Titans, 2010, Warner Bros. .Production made weapon prop, constructed of solid cast resin and featuring sculptural embellishments, expertly painted metallic silver. Known as the "Lightning Sword," it was a divine gift from "Zeus" (Liam Neeson) to "Perseus" (Sam Worthington) in the mythological action film. This prop is in its most compact, deactivated state. The weapon plays a pivotal role in the movie, especially in Perseus' battle against "Calibos" (Jason Flemyng), as its lightning power is the only weapon capable of defeating the monstrous foe. Designed by Simon Atherton and his team, who created over 900 weapons for the film, this supernatural weapon is a key symbol of the gods' power. Measuring 11.75 x 1.5 x 1.25 in.
