Saladin Soldier Helmet from Kingdom of Heaven

Kingdom of Heaven, 2005, 20th Century Fox. Production used prop helmet constructed of cast resin with ear covers attached by strips of leather and brass grommets. Expertly studio painted to appear as aged, battle worn steel. The Army of Saladin, led by the legendary Sultan of Egypt and Syria, is depicted as a disciplined and strategic force during the Crusades. “Saladin's” (Ghassan Massoud) army, known for its diverse composition and tactical flexibility, plays a central role in the Siege of Jerusalem, where Saladin offers the Crusaders an honorable surrender. The film portrays Saladin as a noble, intelligent leader, emphasizing his mercy and religious conviction, contrasting with the more brutal Crusader forces. Retaining interior handwritten note, “MRS3302” in black ink. Measuring approx. 13.25 x 7.5 x 12 in. Exhibiting production wear. In very good condition.
