This stick was used by Kasatonov during the 1984 Canada Cup while playing for the Soviet Union. You can see the exact type in the photos with the tape job also matching up. The stick is free from any cracks or breaks with a black puck mark like substance covering the blade with black bull dog tape covering the rest. The Koho 2210 Silverfibre has the Kasatonov name stamp very low on the shaft which is rare and nice to see, used mainly during his time period. Scattered stick and puck marks along the shaft and at the top, his number 7 in black marker is penned just below the knob tape. Brian would travel all over the world to watch international games and had a very large collection. Alexei Viktorovich Kasatonov, born 14 October 1959, is a Russian former  , who was a long-time member of the . He was inducted into the  in 2009. On the international stage, Kasatonov won two  gold medals, in  and , and silver in . He won an additional five gold medals at the  in 1981, 1982, 1983, 1986 and 1989. In the second half of 1989-90 season, he joined the New Jersey Devils. He played seven seasons in the NHL with New Jersey Devils, Anaheim, St. Louis Blues and the Boston Bruins. In 383 games, he accumulated 38 goals and 122 assists for 160 points. Alexei Came back to Russia and played for HC CSKA in 1996-97 to finish off his career.
