Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall (2) Letters to Danny Kaye with (6) Ladybug Orchestra Figures.

Danny Kaye, 1950s, Danny Kaye. This incredible vintage set of (2) letters from Hollywood legends Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall includes 1-typed 1-page note from Humphrey Bogart on his personal letterhead, which humorously reads: “It has been brought to my attention by you know who that I have been barred from the House of Kaye. This I feel will be very good for me as it will give me a chance to get some sleep." The letter is signed, “Regards, Bogie," and with 1-handwritten 1-page note from Lauren Bacall on pink gingham personal letterhead and reads: “Danny Dear, there is nothing like this orchestra to make you smile – its tune might be a bit off – even obscure, but get a load of the conductor!" She ends with a heartfelt, “Love + xxx's - Beth." Also including the aforementioned orchestra, consisting of (6) hand carved and painted wood and metal ladybugs, 5-playing musical instruments, and 1-leading with a conductor's baton. Letters measuring from 6.25 x 9 in. to 7.25 x 10.25 in., ladybugs measuring approx. 1 x .75 in. Exhibiting minor handling and original transmittal folds. In vintage very good to fine condition.
